A streamline's theme

Giving one streamline its own look, from its Theme card or the Library, and who can change it

Each streamline can wear a theme of its own, changed from its Theme card.

Opening it

  • On the Mac and iPad, the palette in a streamline card's header opens its Theme card beside it.
  • On the iPhone, choose Theme from the streamline's menu in the list (touch and hold its row), or from a chat's •••.
  • In the Library, the editor's Theme row opens the same choices as a sheet.

Only people who may change the streamline see it: you, for your own streamlines on this device, and an organization's owners and admins. Members never see the palette. The Concierge has no theme: it wears the app's.

The choices

  • Follow the account: the account's theme with the streamline's own color.
  • Own color: an accent for light and dark, and optionally the theme it starts from.
  • Or one of the shared themes, each shown with its light and dark sides.

Who it changes for

  • On this device, your pick is saved to the streamline at once, the same as its editor's Theme row.
  • In an organization, a streamline's theme is part of the organization's signed setup. A pick is staged in the Library (Staged: … It shows once published), and nothing changes for anyone until the organization publishes it. See The Library (LIB-1).

What to watch for

  • The Theme card wears the app's theme, not the streamline's, so it does not change color while you pick.
  • On the Mac, the palette sits before the card's close and window buttons, so those stay where you expect them.
