Set up Streamliner for your team, keep its key safe, change its details later, or delete it
An organization is Streamliner for a team: its streamlines, its members and their chats, kept on Streamliner's servers and encrypted for your organization. You set it up; your team signs in with an invite.
By invitation for now
Creating an organization is by invitation for now. If Streamliner gave you a sign-up code, enter it under Have a sign-up code?. Otherwise, your email has to be on the list. Anyone else sees "Creating organizations is by invitation for now." To join your company's organization instead, open the invite link they sent.
Just for yourself? Use Streamliner on this device for free. No account is needed.
The steps
Tap Create an Organization on the first screen, in the account switcher, or in Settings → Accounts.
- Create an Organization. Your organization's name and your email.
- Verify your email. Enter the 6-digit code we send, or use Continue with Apple.
- Make it yours. The name, an icon (an image file or a photo) and a color. A preview shows what your team will see.
- Your organization's key. Create Key makes your organization and two keys on this device: your organization's own key, and this device's key, which the first approves. Streamliner gets only their public halves. Nobody else, Streamliner included, can change your organization's setup.
- Don't get locked out. Save a recovery key, or approve another device of yours.
- Add your model key. Your organization uses its own Claude API key. You can skip this step, but your Concierge and streamlines won't answer until an owner or admin adds one.
- Invite your team. Each invite is a link for one person's email. It lasts 7 days.
If you quit after step 4, tap Create an Organization again to finish where you left off.
Your recovery key
The recovery key is 13 groups of 4 letters and digits. Save it as a file, share it to your password manager, or copy it, then type its last group to confirm. After that, your organization's key is only in your recovery key. Streamliner doesn't have a copy.
Anyone with the recovery key can approve devices that change your organization's setup. Keep it where you keep other important passwords.
If your only approved device is lost, sign in on a new device, then go to Settings → Accounts → your organization → Use a Recovery Key and type it. That device is approved, and you can revoke the lost one from your page in Members.
If you approved another device instead, your organization's key stays on this device until you save a recovery key. Save a Recovery Key under Recovery in Settings → Accounts.
Changing its details
Owners change the organization's name, tagline, icon, color, support email, voice, and how long chats stay on members' devices in Settings → Accounts → your organization → Organization Details. Save Changes stages the change. Review and Publish opens Staged Changes in the Library, where you publish it like any other change (see Publishing, AD-5). Members get it on their next check.
Names are your own, but a few can't be used, such as Streamliner, Apple or Support, or names that look like them.
Deleting your organization
Only an owner can delete an organization. Go to Settings → Accounts → your organization → Delete Organization… and type its name. Every owner and admin gets an email. The organization is deleted after 7 days, with its streamlines, members and chat records. Until then, any owner can tap Cancel Deletion, and nothing changes.
