Everyone in your organization in one place, and what owners and admins can change about each person
Members lists everyone in your organization, grouped as owners, admins and members, with their email or username, their roles, when they last signed in and on how many devices. Owners and admins see it: in the sidebar on a Mac or iPad, and in Settings → General → Organization on an iPhone. Members never see it.
What you can change
Open the ••• on a row, or tap the person to open their page:
- Change Access Level…: Owner, Admin or Member. Access levels decide who manages the organization; roles decide what a person's streamlines allow.
- Edit Roles…: which roles they hold, and so which streamlines they use.
- Sign Out Everywhere, Suspend… / Lift Suspension, Remove from Organization…: see Inviting and removing people (AD-2).
The rules:
- Owners are equals. Only an owner makes, lowers, suspends or removes an owner. An admin sees owners but has no actions on them.
- Nobody changes their own access level. Ask another owner.
- The organization always keeps an owner. The last owner's actions are turned off with Every organization needs an owner. Make someone else an owner first. When there is only one owner, Members suggests adding a second.
- Managed by your directory: when your organization's own systems set a person's level or roles, they can't be changed here (the next update from your directory would undo it). Change them in your directory. Set in your organization's configuration means the same for people named in your published setup.
A person's page
Tap a person to see their page: who they are and the actions above, Can Use (see Who can use what, AD-7), their Usage this week and month, their Publishing devices (for owners and admins: each device they publish from, approved when and by whom, or waiting, with Approve…, Decline and Revoke… for an owner; see Publishing from the app, AD-5), their Signed-in Devices (each with Sign Out), their Chats (a read-only copy of what your organization keeps; opening one is recorded in Activity), and, where your organization keeps them, Refusals.
The same manual ships inside the app. This section as Markdown
