# Publisher Terms

> **Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel.** Published for review; not in effect.

**Effective date:**

These terms apply when you **share a streamline** with other people: by link, by file, or (when we offer it) as a listing in Discover. They add to our [Terms of Service](/terms) and [Acceptable Use Policy](/terms/acceptable-use). "You" here means **the publisher**. For a link, that is the organization that shares the streamline; the owner or admin who shares it acts for the organization, as its agent, and takes on no personal obligations under these terms. For a file, it is whoever sends it.

## How sharing works today

- **Sharing by link** is something an organization's **owners and admins** can do, for the organization, unless the organization has turned it off. Members can't share. A link belongs to the organization, not to the person who made it, and **the organization is the publisher**: a link's page says *Shared by* followed by the organization's name. Any owner or admin of the organization can see its links and stop any of them, and every share, update and stop is recorded in its activity log.
- **A streamline only becomes shareable** when an owner or admin turns on *Can be shared by link* for it and publishes.
- **What a shared streamline contains**: its name, description, icon and appearance, welcome text, quick phrases and suggestions, its instructions (including its briefs), the model it was set up for, and the servers it connects to and their tool settings. **It never contains** the organization's AI key, its people's roles, its network rules or its limits.
- **Who can see it**: **anyone who has the link.** The link's address is unguessable and we never list links publicly, but anyone you send it to can forward it, and its page and contents can be read without signing in. Treat everything in a shared streamline as public.
- **Signed versions**: each version you share is signed with a key on the device that shared it. Streamliner checks the signature before anyone gets the streamline (and, once updates arrive, will check that each new version comes from the same publisher).
- **Files**: a streamline exported as a file (for example, sent by AirDrop) goes wherever you send it. We don't host or see it.
- **There are no public listings in Discover yet.** When we open them, they will come with a review step, and these terms will be updated first.

There are limits on how many links an organization can share, how many versions each can have and how large each version can be. We may change them.

## What you promise

When you share a streamline, you promise that:

- **you have the right to share it**, including its instructions, text, icons and images, and nothing in it infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- **it contains nothing secret or personal**: no keys, passwords, tokens, internal addresses you don't want public, customer or employee information, or confidential business information;
- **it does what it says.** Its name and description fairly describe what it does and which servers it connects to, and it doesn't hide instructions that make the assistant act against the person using it, collect data they didn't mean to give, or send it somewhere they wouldn't expect;
- **you have the right to point others at the servers it connects to**, the servers' terms allow it, and you have told people anything they need to know about those servers (for example, that they need their own account);
- **it doesn't pretend to be someone else's.** You don't use another company's name, brand or product in a way that suggests it made or endorsed your streamline when it didn't;
- **it follows the law**, our [Acceptable Use Policy](/terms/acceptable-use), and the usage policies of the AI providers it is meant to run on;
- **you'll keep it accurate**, and update or stop sharing it if it becomes misleading, unsafe or broken, or if a server it relies on changes in a way that matters.

You are responsible for your shared streamlines and for the servers you run behind them. People who get your streamline will send their information to the servers it names; **you are responsible for how your servers treat it**, including having a privacy policy where the law requires one.

## The license you give

You keep ownership of what you share. By sharing a streamline, you give:

- **Manolab** a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit and display it, and to show your organization's name as its publisher, for as long as you share it and as needed to run Streamliner, check it, and respond to reports and legal requests; and
- **everyone who gets it** a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it, keep copies of it on their devices, and change their own copy for their own or their organization's use. You can't take back copies people already have, even after you stop sharing.

If you want to put further conditions on your streamline, you can't do it through Streamliner; it isn't a marketplace for licensing.

## What we check, and what we don't

**We check** that each version is signed by the key the link was made with, that its files match what was signed, and that it fits the size and shape limits. Streamliner shows people what a streamline connects to before they get it.

**We don't** review, test, approve, endorse or monitor streamlines shared by link, their instructions, or the servers they connect to, and we don't promise that they are accurate, safe, lawful or fit for any purpose. A link to a streamline is not a statement by Manolab about it. If we later review listings for public Discover, that review will check what we say it checks, and nothing more.

## Taking a streamline down

**You can stop sharing at any time**, from the app. Its link then stops working. Copies people already saved stay with them.

**We may remove or disable** a shared streamline or link, or stop an organization from sharing, without notice where it is urgent, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, harms people or the service, or if we are required to. Where reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

**Reporting a shared streamline.** Anyone can report a shared streamline that they believe is harmful, misleading or infringing, through the form on our [support page](/support) or at [abuse contact email], with the link and what is wrong with it.

**Copyright.** If you believe a shared streamline infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at [DMCA agent name, address and email, once registered with the US Copyright Office], including: your signature; the work you claim is infringed; the link to the streamline; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act. If your streamline was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with the information the law requires. In appropriate circumstances, we end the ability to share, and the accounts, of organizations that repeatedly infringe.

## Our own listings

Streamlines published by **Streamliner's own channel** are ours, but the servers they connect to belong to others. If we ever list a streamline for another company's product before that company publishes its own, the listing will say that it was made by Streamliner, not by that company; we will use the company's name only to say what the streamline works with, never its logo without permission; and we will hand the listing over or take it down when the company asks.

## Liability

Your shared streamlines are covered by the disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity in our [Terms of Service](/terms), including the organization's promise to defend us against claims arising from what it publishes.
