On the Mac you can see more than one thing at once: two chats in one card, two streamlines side by side, or a card in a window of its own.

## Two chats in one card

⌘-click a second tab. It opens **side by side** with the selected one, in columns inside the card, each with its own composer. Tabs outside the pair shrink to small glyphs that keep their marks. ⌘-click a tab again to take it out.

## Two streamlines side by side

⌘-click a second streamline in the sidebar. Its card opens beside the one on screen, for example Register next to Approvals. Each card takes the width it needs; when the window is too narrow for both, they stack one above the other.

The rule is one sentence: **⌘-click from a lone card starts an arrangement, ⌘-click while one is on screen changes it, and a plain click anywhere leaves it.**

## Arrangements

The first ⌘-click that puts two cards side by side also gives them a row under *Arrangements*, named after its cards; ⌘-clicking more rows changes that row. Click the row later to put them side by side again. If cards are side by side without a row (after a row was forgotten, say), **Keep This Arrangement** (in the File menu, or at the foot of the sidebar) gives them one. Right-click a row to open it in a new window. **Forget This Arrangement** (⌘⌫) removes the row; nothing it names is touched.

## A card in its own window

**Open in New Window** (⇧⌘N, or the window button in a card's header) moves the card on screen into a window of its own. Cards move, never copy: the sidebar row dims with a window mark, and clicking it brings that window forward. Close the window and its cards go back to the sidebar.

A chat is only ever in one place at a time. Opening it somewhere else brings you to where it already is.

## What to watch for

- No shortcut confirms a card or opens a secure form, in any window.
- A secure form covers only its own card's chat; other cards keep working.
